Raw Cranberry Salad

The best raw cranberry salad


  • 1 quart Cranberries
  • 1.5 cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons gelatin
  • .5 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup celery (chopped)
  • 1 cup apples (diced, unpeeled)
  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped)


Step 1
Grind cranberries in food processor. Add sugar, mix, and let stand 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Soften the gelatin in the orange juice for 5 minutes, and then stir in a double boiler over hot water until dissolved.
Step 3
Mix gelatin mixture with cranberries, celery, apples, and walnuts.
Step 4
Refrigerate until set.
